Applied Sciences

The Department of Applied Sciences comprises sections of Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Communication Skills and Humanities, including courses in Management, Engineering Economics, Organizational Behavior and Personnel Management for Engineers. In addition, several courses in Numerical Analysis and Discrete Structures are given to select branches of undergraduate engineering according to the prescribed curriculum of Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. A new course leading to the degree of B.Tech. in Bio-medical Engineering was added in 2007.This is a very uncommon branch in which advanced knowledge is being imparted in the following areas:
