The Promoting Body
The promoting body "Adesh Foundation" is a public charitable Trust that is run
by a group of academicians, industrialists, bankers and social workers. The
Foundation is committed to setting up the centers of excellence in the technical
as well as in the medical health care education with the objective of providing
sound and wholesome education with the total development of the students.
Foundation is a Trust with corporate powers.The Board of Trustees is custodian
of the endowment and the properties of all the institutes run by it, including
the AIET. A separate Managing Committee for AIET administers the invested funds,
sets the annual budget, and determines policies for operation and control of
this institute.It comprises of 12 members, the majority of whom are external to
the institute and are leaders in their professions.They are responsible for
making policies for the Institute's administration. The Principal reports to
this Committee which is chaired by the Chairman of the Foundation.
Adesh Foundation is running 16 Technical,Medical & Para-medical institutions
very successfully.Adesh Foundation established Adesh Hospital and Research
Center at Mukatsar in 1991 and started para-medical courses. In 1994,the
Foundation started Adesh Polytechnic at Mukatsar and soon setup Adesh Institute
of Engineering and Technology, Faridkot (1996), Bhai Maha Singh College of
Engineering and Technology, Mukatsar (2002) and Malwa Polytechnic college,
Faridkot (2005). In 2006, foundation started its prestigious Adesh Institute of
Medical Sciences and Research, Bathinda imparting MBBS degree to the students.
From 2008 Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences and Research , Bathinda has started
functioning.
VISION: The vision of AIET is to create an environment
conducive for youth to acquire highest technical knowledge and skills & also to
develop their personalities so as to become competent professionals.
The Aim of Adesh Foundation aim is to advance and transmit knowledge and
understanding and to promote learning in various branches of engineering and
medical health care.
The Board of Governors of the Adesh Foundation and the Managing
Committe for AIET are responsible for the management of this Institute. They
remain focused on the present administration as well as future needs of the
Institute.
