AIET is a non-profit making educational institute amongst 18 other prestigious institutions run by the same mission. The strategic location of AIET offers us a lot of economic benefits both in terms of capital as well as operational costs. We pass on these benefits to the students and therefore are able to offer a lower fee in spite of maintaining very high standards in education.

What if I cannot afford the fee? (Financial Assistance)

We extend full cooperation in getting a study loan sanctioned. AIET is an approved institution for which you can apply for loans from any nationalized bank. The process is simple and requires some paperwork from AIET, which we shall gladly provide. The loans may also cover your hostel/mess charges. AIET placements ensure that your loans are paid well in time.

How much is the Hostel/Mess fee:

Do I get good quality accommodation/food in such a fee?

The hostels have all the facilities like a gymnasium, common room, sports ground and internet connection in every room. The (cooperative) mess is operated by students themselves on a no-profit basis, for which the institute has provided adequate infrastructure. The food quality is extremely good and the bill is low as the market is very economic at Faridkot for vegetables, milk, as well as food grains.

Will there be any other fee?

AIET is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. It is recognized by the Govt. of Punjab and all courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

The AIET buses ply daily from Bhantinda, Firozpur, Mukstar, and Faridkot. Faridkot city is about 10 minutes from the college in your own conveyance. Adequate public transport (local buses) are available that takes about 15-20 minutes to reach the city.

We have a dedicated Leased Line by HFCL and Internet facilities are provide in the AIET labs as well as Hostels 24 hrs.

Are the library facilities good?

Institute has well stocked air-conditioned library along with reading room, having more than 20,000 books on sciences and engineering and is subscribing more than 50 national / international journals. It provides the facility of DELNET for students and faculty to borrows books, journals, magazines, conference proceedings and IEEE standards. Institute library has also subscription facility to e-journal INDEST-AICTE consortium.

Do I get other things that I may need in the campus.

Canteen with STD, and Fast food complex is maintained in AIET campus for the convenience of the students. There is a daily need stores in the campus to fulfill general/stationary needs of the students also.
