What is the need of SMART CARD? What benefits shall I get?

1. Each smart card would act as an ID Card.
2. Each Smart Card would also act as Library Card. Now students need not to carry three paper library cards. Student just has to show the card to readers to issue/return a book.
3. This smart will also be used to access Student Profile, Attendance, Library Books in Account, Sessional Marks, Final Results, News and Events, Notice-board, Value Added Activities, Sports Achievements, Cultural Achievements, Library Fine, Fee Balances, Student Complaints, Library Search (Books, Journals), Demand of Books, Thought of the Day and more.
4. Students will use the card at Campus Main Gate Entry, Accounts Section, Kiosk Machines (Touch screen panels like ATM) etc.
5. It will also act as discount card in many enterprises e.g. Subway, Hot-millions, Yo!China, Oceanic Gym & Fitness Centre, M’Gee & Unisex Salon, Mapple’$ Unisex Salon, various hospitals and many more.
6. If the student has the smart card only then he/she will be given a user name and a password to access Adesh online services anytime (365x24x7) anywhere. Details of Adesh online services are below mentioned.
7. This smart card is valid for student/staff bank account opening, ID Proof for purchasing SIM etc.
8. All important information will also be sent through SMS. Student will get SMS Services only if he/she has smart card.
9. Students will be able to wear these cards while going to another college for an event, Campus Placements, College functions etc.

Adesh Online Services (Freedom to learn anytime…anywhere…)

1. Students will be able to download Study Material, Class Notes, Assignments, Articles, Lesson Plan, Question Papers (University/Board, House Test), e-Books, e-Journals, Scanned copy of their certificates, Lab Manuals, Resources etc. at hostels/campus through Wi-Fi in college campus or at their home through Internet
